The March “Neighborhood News” is now available online for your reading
pleasure, in both English and Spanish, at:

With many of us social-distancing, self-quarantining, working from home or
home with kids, and with the ongoing concerns about COVID-19 (coronavirus),
it is more important than ever to take care of one another. Albuquerque is
our home, our community, and our city and it’s up to us to care for it and
for each other. Please consider ordering takeout from your favorite local
restaurant, buying a gift card from your favorite local shop or business,
and checking on family, friends and neighbors who are also isolated during
this public health emergency. As well, remember our first responders and
keep them in your thoughts – our police officers, fire fighters, EMTs, bus
drivers, paratransit drivers, solid waste truck drivers, 911 and 311
operators, grocery store clerks, and those wonderful folks who deliver our
groceries, food, and necessary supplies.



Please also remember that everyone in our community needs food and
supplies, so please don’t hoard items like toilet paper, bottled water,
hand sanitizer and food. Buy what you need, and if you know someone who is
running low on these supplies, consider sharing if it will not create
hardship for you.
