Special Procedures for City Council Meeting on Monday, March 1, 2021
In response to the Governor’s declaration of a Public Health Emergency and ban on large public gatherings, the City Council Meeting on Monday, March 1 at 3:00 p.m. will be held via Zoom video conference. The video recording of this and all past meetings of the City Council will also remain available for viewing at any time on the City’s website. Council Staff is available to help members of the public access pre-recorded Council meetings on-line at any time during normal business hours. Please call 768-3100 for assistance. To provide real time verbal public comment over Zoom, participants must sign up for public comment at the link above. Written comments will be distributed to all Councilors for review in advance of the meeting.

CPOA Board Meeting This Week
The Civilian Police Oversight Agency (CPOA) will meet Tuesday, March 2 via Zoom at 3:00 p.m. and the public is welcome and encouraged to attend. The CPOA receives, investigates and reviews complaints and commendations submitted by community members for/against the Albuquerque Police Department, and reviews Albuquerque Police Department policies, practices, and procedures, making recommendation to the Chief of Police. PNM COVID Relief Program for Small Businesses and Non-Profit
PNM is helping small businesses and on-profits with the power they need to operate, and are providing financial help. To qualify, a small business must be:
* Registered with the New Mexico Secretary of State
* On Small Power Service (PNM 2A or 2B rate)
* Be a nonprofit 501(c)3 or a small business in one of the following industries: restaurant, retail, hospitality, services (e.g. salon, massage business, small automotive garage), or leisure/entertainment with 50 or fewer employees
* An active non-residential PNM Electric customer for the past 6 months
* Experiencing financial hardships due to COVID-19, with a past due account

Bunnies For Adoption Through Bernalillo County
Bernalillo County Animal Care Services officers recently took possession of 169 rabbits that were surrendered by the owners.
There are still several rabbits available for adoption. Bernalillo County Animal Care Services staff will then contact those people to make an appointment to come into the facility. Rail Runner Resuming Limited Service Starting Monday, March 8
The New Mexico Rail Runner will resume limited service on Monday, March 8, 2021. There will be no weekend service during this time. Tickets must be purchased online and in advance.
