-Forwarding weekly eNews from CABQ.
-Also, Solid Waste Management (SWMD) residential customers should mark their
calendars for the City's Fall Green Waste collection. The City of
Albuquerque Solid Waste Management Department's Fall green waste collection
will run from Monday, November 29, 2021 through Friday, December 10, 2021.
SWMD will collect residential green waste at no additional charge. SWMD
customers should have their green waste at the curb by 7 a.m. on their
regular trash and recycle collection day.
* All green waste must be placed 5 feet from trash and recycling
containers as well as any large items scheduled for pick-up.
* SWMD customers must place their green waste such as leaves, grass,
and brush in trash bags.
* Each trash bag should not weigh more than 40 pounds.
* Customers that have branches must cut them to four-foot lengths and
bundle them securely.
* Green waste should not be placed in your recycle cart.
The following items will not be picked up:
* Dirt
* Construction debris
* Gravel
* Construction material
* Tree stumps
-And a facilitated meeting is planned a week from tonight regarding
construction at 4200 Brockmont Ave NE.

Thanksgiving Closures for the City of Albuquerque
The City of Albuquerque will be closed on Thursday, November 25, in
observance of the Thanksgiving holiday, with the vast majority of services
not being available. There will not be trash or recycle pickup, there will
be no bus or Sun Van service, and all libraries, community centers, senior
centers, museums, and the 311 community call center will all be closed that
day. Some City services will be available on Friday, November 26. For a

EPC to Review Proposed Changes to Integrated Development Ordinance in
December
The Environmental Planning Commission (EPC) will review proposed changes to

City's zoning code, at a special hearing for the IDO Annual Update in

decision-makers consider and respond to comments and concerns. We encourage

Bernalillo County Treasurer Offering Free, In-Person Tax Advice in December
Join the Bernalillo County Treasurer for their upcoming Senior and
Multigenerational Center Outreach events! These free, in-person sessions
offer the public an opportunity to ask property tax questions to staff from
both the Bernalillo County Treasurer and Bernalillo County Assessor. Bring
