[Neighbors] Fiber Optic damage

I just found out that I have a broken sewer  line in front of my house by
the sidewalk, where the fiber optic company was running their line. I live
in Carlisle  SE and know that there have at least been  a couple of broken
sewer  lines caused by the fiber  optic companies.
I was wondering if any neighbors have experienced such damage
