Also, if you did get a notice from the City and are a senior you do not have to pay for the repairs. They won't necessarily tell you that but it's true and they have to honor that if you bring it to their attention.

IF you got notices from the City requiring you to fix your sidewalk: we called the City and arranged to have them do the repair. The cost was within reason with the other quotes, and they allowed us to make payments. That was 3 or 4 years ago when the entire 400 Hermosa NE block got flagged.
