[NMCCSC] Removed 10 trees from Survey Tr. S of wilderness, Tues., Dec. 3

Hello Skiers and FOSM Volunteers,

On Tuesday, Dec. 3, Jerry Carroll, David D'Antonio, and I removed 10 down trees from Survey Trail outside the wilderness with two chain saws. The largest tree was just south of the highway, and the diameter was about 24 inches.

Carrying the chain saws was tiring, because we were on snowshoes, the trail was not packed hard, and we would sink in a little with each step. We were back at Ellis Trailhead by about 1:30 pm.
