[NMCCSC] Sandia Crest Snowshoe 4-17-2020.

Sandia Crest Snowshoe update for Friday April 17th. AM.
Road:  clear and dry.
Parking: 10K—one side cleared for parking.
   Ellis: not plowed; lower lot completely covered in snow; upper lot-recommend AWD.
   The Crest:  cleared for parking. 
Snow:  recommend snowshoes.  By 11:00AM the snow in the sun was softening up and the snow in the shade was still crusty.  
General Conditions:  A surprising amount of post-holing on the service road and the trails toward Kiwanis Hut, Switchback and Buried Cable.   The meadow had a few bare spots.  Overall, any remnants of a ski track were obliterated.
