[NMCCSC] North Crest conditions

Thanks everyone, especially Friday people, for the snow reports. 
Since the last snow was only a couple inches I had no trouble getting to 10k with my Prius. I skied up to Ellis and took my favorite route out Survey trail. As David D’Antonio reported, getting up the ledgy outcrops was tricky and I actually took off my skis for a few steps. As more people pass over the trails, more snow gets kicked off the rocks. I don’t think I would go that way again until we have more snow. 
I went on to the overlook but had to walk over a short rocky stretch.  
Then I went on up the N. Crest trail which hadn’t been skied since the last snow. Was able to keep skis on picking my way carefully. I would not go down it though, until we get another foot of snow. 
The big tree that had fallen in the towers area, across the fence has been cut so the trail is passable. Thanks FOSM!
