[NMCCSC] Sandia Nordic groomers today 2/19

Greetings all,
James and I parked at 10K today and skied up the groomers from the upper 10k meadow to Ellis parking area.  We then did one lap on the service road before heading back down.  James was on his BC Classics and I was on my skates.  Sandia Nordic was hard at work roller grooming and shoveling today.  Conditions for skates on the service road were as perfect as I've ever had them.  I think James also really enjoyed the service road with his BC classics.  Challenge trail was a tad soft for skates but will likely firm up by tomorrow.  Hey I'll take unconsolidated powder any day other than ice!!! I felt I could cruise with ease on the rare flat areas and the descents.  Uphill?  Nope.  I still look and feel like a praying mantis stuck in molasses swamp.  By the looks of it the XC trails like Switchbacks and Rocky Point looked like wonderful packed powder.  Conditions should hold at least through the weekend!
