[NMCCSC] XC skills drills tomorrow 10a Ellis service road

Hi everyone, 
1) I’m going up Saturday to practice some of the skills drills that Jon showed us in the clinic. ~10 at the gravel pit on the Ellis service road. See Meetup. More below. 

2) Notes from the clinic 
  - balance on 1 foot is key
  - angles (see picture). We want to have our center of mass a little forward of our binding. 
  - view from front (see picture): stacked ankle, knee, hip over the leg that’s pushing into the snow 
  - use core for poling, not so much arms

Saturday XC technique skills drills:
I’ll probably take the 1st tram up and aim to be at the gravel pit area on the service road about 10. I’ve created a Meetup for this so check out the NMCCSC Meetup page.
