[NMCCSC] Beginners ski Sunday, Sandias

Sunday January 30. 8:50 AM. 
Conditions on the Crest. 
Weather: cloudy/some neutral lighting. 

Roads: Dry except wet in the shady switchbacks. 

Snow; 10k meadow is crusty/ice/some melt out/packed powder.  

Suggestion: would highly recommend beginner skiers start at Ellis.

Invitation for anyone who missed the beginners lesson or wants more practice. 
Plan is to ski the service road from Ellis over to the ski area & back as a warm up, then ski the groomed trails between Ellis and 10K. 
Leisurely morning! Abq people meet at Smith’s Tramway & Central at 9.  East Mountains people: text to let me know if you’re coming. We’ll try to park at Ellis trailhead, but if it’s full we may have to start our ski at 10K. 
Hopefully we’ll cross paths with Amy’s group during the day.
