[NMCCSC] Advice needed: learn to drill & mount telemark binding or take Sport Systems?

Hello Telemark drillers & binders,

I’ve never drilled nor installed any ski binding…

I’ve gotten a ski onto which I’d like a new telemark binding. 
Should I:
-learn how-to? + buy tools?
-Find a mentor?
-Take the setup to Sport Systems?
