[Volunteers_fosm] Report of painting at Oak Flat PA, Tuesday, Oct. 29

Hello Everyone,

On Tuesday, October 29, the paint crew returned to Oak Flat Group Picnic Area and continued striping parking lots. We cleaned and striped Oak Trailhead, and Pine and Pinyon picnic parking lots. A total of 64 parking lines were done in addition to painting yellow no parking lines and blue handicap symbols where appropriate. One area of Pinyon had to be cleaned of old slash and swept before paint could be applied.   We also scraped and painted two large trash receptacles at Oak Trailhead.

This is our last official paint project for this season as the weather is becoming unpredictable.  A special thank-you goes to Sam Beard for helping us the last few weeks because of fewer paint crew members.  As usual, Jane Harrison is our dependable truck driver.

Painters were Rikki Barrett, Ellie and Russ Parker, Sam Beard, Jane Harrison and Anne Hickman.
