Hello Everyone,

On Wednesday, September 11, 2019, FOSM volunteers bucked three tree trunks at Dan's Loop, split the wood, and hauled it to the hazmat building. The wood from the recently felled large tree was much more difficult to split than the wood from two smaller trees that were felled a few years ago. We have now felled all the dead hazard trees near the pavement at this location. The wood was added to the large pile at the hazmat building behind the Ranger Station. Don Moore, leader of the Mountain Christian Church Wood Ministry, was notified that several cords of donation wood are ready to be picked up.

The volunteers working Wednesday were Dan Benton, Lou Romero, Eric Russell, Jerry Carroll, Sam Beard, and Bill White.

Photos of the Wednesday project are presented in the attached Word document.
