[Volunteers_fosm] Painting and graffiti removal along Crest Highway

Hello Everyone,

On Thursday, July 30, Paint Crew members Anne Hickman, Nancy Peterson, and Sam Beard worked on several tasks at the following sites along the Crest Highway:


  1.  Crest Area – Painted picnic table  and sign back damaged with graffiti and carving, removed graffiti from dead trees along Nature Trail, and checked paint on restroom doors. We will paint over the two-tone gray door colors next week.
  2.  10K North Trailhead – Applied Penofin wood finish to picnic table and removed graffiti from back of kiosk.
  3.  Capulin Bird Log – Applied Penofin to two benches. Removed graffiti from lower gate post.
  4.  Cienega Horse Trailer Parking Lot – Applied Penofin to picnic table.
