Due to several issues with the EAL and Base access, we are going to a year
base pass for all AWC members interested in attending Wed night roll
sessions.  This entails seeing me and filling out some paperwork.  I will
then take that paperwork to the Truman gate (by San Mateo), and they will
do a background check.  Approximately 10 days later they will call you and
you can pick up the pass at the Truman gate.  This should eliminate any
issues getting into the Base.  (The pass will still only allow you to enter
the Base on Wed between the hours of 1800 and 2100 (6-9).  If you have a
minor with the same last name in your vehicle he can come onto base with
you, and does not need a pass.  If he will be driving by himself onto base
he will need a pass.****

At the end of this month the EAL will no longer be in effect.  You will
have to be sponsored on base by someone with permanent base access, or get
the year pass.****

Attached are copies of the forms you  need to fill out.  Fill out the
bottom part of the pass request (contractor/visitor’s information).
Duration of pass and contract expiration are already filled out and show 1
year.  For days required leave that blank and I will fill that out.  It
will be for Wed and show 1800 to 2100 hours.  If you have questions call me
at 505-980-0091.****

Fill out the top part of the criminal background check page.  Then sign and
date the form and scan and email both pages to me at john.coddou at dhs.gov or
FAX it to 505-346-6431.   ****

Truman gate.  If you can’t print out the forms, or they don’t go through
the clubserve system, let me know and I will try to get them to you some
other way.****
