All – I wanted to pass along (below) information about Barbara Rivers (hit and run on Roy Rd).  Both Thom (her husband) and Barb have been coming to my spin classes for a long time, and it is great to know Barb is recovering from the severe trauma she suffered.

Larry,

 

Thanks for your concern. Although Barb has suffered severe injuries, she is on the road to recovery.

 

She suffered a liver tear, road rash, a broken ankle and a head trauma with brain bleed. She spent two nights in ICU and five days on the acute care ward; she was transferred today to a rehab center and we are hoping for a complete recovery.

 

Fortunately Barb Is in great physical condition and is in good spirits; she's already talking about what new bike she wants!

 

Thanks for the good wishes, I'll make sure she knows you're all thinking of her.
