No prereg as there is no charge for this one, but if you are coming out please RSVP so I get an idea of what to expect. RSVP by joining the event on FB or emailing me directly. Deadline for RSVPs is midnight tomorrow. It will cost $3 to park. It is supposed to be unseasonably warm on 11-30, 64F here in town which probably means near 50F up there. There will probably be a little residual snow.

There are some updates as regards to parking, which I will copy here.
Updates as of 11-22-14:
The gate to the Capulin Picnic/Sledding area is closed, as the snowplay are is not yet open for sledding. I talked with USFS and is fine to ride up there, it is just closed to sledding. What is good about this is that there will be no cars in the area, and the gate to the sledding area is open. The difficulty is that there will be no open parking spaces directly in Capulin. You have two options.
A: Park at Balsam Glade Picnic area and ride up to the course. You can drop spare wheels/bikes/stuff off in front of Capulin first, then drive down and park, then ride up to the course. Balsam Glade is where the dirt road to Placitias divides off, and it is about 1/2 mile uphill cycling to get up to Capulin.
B: Park across from or below Capulin somewhere that you can get all the way off the road and not get stuck. Note that the area just above Capulin has some specified "No Parking" areas, but if you can find another spot above Capulin you could park there as well. You will not be ticketed if you park off the road, but if you chose this option, I would ask that you PLEASE BUY A $3 PARKING PASS AT BALSAM GLADE ANYWAY. The Forest Service collects very modest fees which help to maintain the Picnic Area that we are enjoying, and it would be an excellent gesture on the part of the cyclists towards the Forest Service to show we are willing to support the facility.
