 River Opportunities on
Sunday (NOT SPONSORED OR RUN BY ADOBE)

As we will be at the river, a couple of our members wanted
to let you know of potential paddling opportunities on Sunday. Please note that
these are NOT being run, organized, or managed by the Adobe Whitewater Club and
you and you alone are responsible for your own individual safety in terms of
having the appropriate gear and skills.

State Park Class II+ 9am – Show up at the Taos Junction
Bridge to find others to paddle with (assuming water remains >500cfs). If you have solid class II skills, have run
the State Park before without swims, or have taken a whitewater weekend class
with New Mexico Kayak Instruction or another 2 day ACA Whitewater Kayaking
course from an ACA certified instructor you would likely have the skills to
participate. You will need your own appropriate cold water paddling gear
including dry top or dry suit.

Lower Taos Box – This trip requires pre-approval to
participate. If you are interested in joining, please register for this event
on the Greater Albuquerque/ Santa Fe Meet-Up. Although there is already a wait
list, if there are sufficient highly skilled leads, we may break into two
groups.

Paddle on,
Christine Mollo on behalf of your Adobe Whitewater Club Board
