[Lwvcnmtopics] 1/15/21 LWVCNM Zoom Consensus Meeting for Spent Nuclear Fuel Storage Safety

LWVCNM members - there is a consensus meeting scheduled Friday 1/15/21 from
2:00 pm - 3:30 pm for LWVCNM Members to respond to the Spent Nuclear Fuel
Storage Safety questions.  Results from the 4 NM local league consensus
meetings will be used to finalize the draft Position (attached).

Members with limited prior knowledge may desire to review the attached SNF
Storage Q&A.  Members with extensive prior knowledge may desire to review
the attached References with link for access.  A link to prior LWVNM  La
Palabra Newsletter articles is also available.

Please review the attached Consensus meeting Agenda & Ground Rules as
discussion time is strictly limited during the meeting.  Please review the
Consensus Question Pros & Cons and be prepared with questions.  A short
introduction to the topics will be provided by presenters Bobbi Merryman
and me.

Please contact me at your earliest convenience if additional information is
desired for meeting preparation.   Thank you for your interest in
collaborating with other LWVNM members to establish an official Spent
Nuclear Fuel Storage Safety Position.
